1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or interacting with the Smart Life Reminder mobile application or this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms form a legally binding contract between you and Innovait Tech ("we," "us," or "our").

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately uninstall the mobile application from all devices and cease browsing this web page.

2. Scope of License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, terminable license to download and utilize the Smart Life Reminder software on mobile hardware belonging to or controlled by you, in absolute accordance with these rules and Google Play Store Developer Guidelines.

This license is restricted to your own private, non-commercial usage. You may not attempt to distribute, compile, reverse-engineer, publish, or sublicense the application binary or visual assets (including dashboard layouts, theme colors, and icons) without our written consent.

3. User Content & Local Backup Responsibility

Smart Life Reminder does not assert ownership of any content you record in the application (including custom habits, descriptions, and notification timelines). You own your data entirely.

💾 Offline Data Warning

Because Smart Life Reminder operates on an offline-first system, **we do not maintain user databases on our own servers.** If you delete the mobile application, clear your system cache, or lose your hardware device, all database contents (reminders, logs, habits, milestones) will be permanently lost. It is your sole responsibility to manage regular backups to your personal Google Drive or export data files using the app's internal backup tool.

4. In-App Upgrades & Billing

While the basic habit and notification configurations are 100% free to download, the application may offer in-app purchases or subscriptions to unlock premium elements (such as advanced analytics dashboards, premium custom color themes, and priority support channels):

  • Play Store Billing: All monetization procedures are processed strictly through the Google Play Billing framework. Subscriptions are billed automatically based on the cycle you select.
  • Cancellation & Refunds: You can manage, cancel, or modify subscriptions at any time via your active Google Play Store account settings. Refunds are handled in accordance with standard Google Play Store refund policies.

5. Acceptable Use & Restrictions

You agree that you will not use the application to engage in any activity that:

  • Violates local, state, national, or international legal statutes or ordinances.
  • Attempts to inject malicious code, trojans, or SQL attacks into local SQLite databases or our cloud backup gateways.
  • Intends to script or automate high-frequency sync queries to our Firebase gateways.
  • Deceives, exploits, or harasses other individuals or the developers.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APPLICATION AND WEBSITE CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

WE EXPLICITLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: MERCHANTABILITY, INTEGRITY OF DATABASE FILES, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE UTILITY WILL COMMUNICATE DATA SECURELY AT ALL TIMES, THAT SCHEDULES WILL FIRE WITHOUT EXCEPTION, OR THAT CLOUD SYNCS WILL RESOLVE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION.

7. Limitation of Liability & Alarms

IN NO EVENT SHALL INNOVAIT TECH OR ITS EMPLOYEES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES RESULTING FROM DATA LOSS, CRASHES, SYSTEM REINSTALLATIONS, OR DEVICE DESTRUCTION.

🔋 Battery Optimization Notice

Android's energy management features (such as Doze mode or aggressive battery restriction layers) may delay or restrict local notification schedules. **We are not responsible for missed deadlines, forgotten tasks, medical emergencies, or lost revenues** caused by the device's operating system suppressing background tasks, notifications, or alarm schedules.

Our cumulative financial liability for any claims originating under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us via Google Play billing during the six (6) month period preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law & Severability

These Terms, and all questions of construction, validation, and enforcement, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your local jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If any provision of these Terms is deemed illegal, void, or unenforceable by an authorized court of law, that provision shall be severed, and the remaining agreements shall remain fully operational and legally binding.
