Welcome to Smart Life Reminder (developed by "Innovait"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. Our application is designed around a fundamental core philosophy: your personal data belongs to you.

This privacy document details the absolute minimal circumstances under which user data is accessed, and clarifies your absolute rights and protections under modern data regulations (including GDPR, CCPA, and Google Play Store policies).

2. Information We Collect

Because the app operates locally, we do not set up accounts on proprietary database servers, nor do we run background tracking telemetry. However, the app interacts with specific elements on your device to function correctly:

• Local database storage: We save your custom habits, logged streaks, timelines, category tags, and calendar events using a secure, local SQLite sandbox database managed via the Drift framework. This sandbox cannot be viewed by other apps on your device.
• Local notification scheduling: The app holds a local database record of notification schedules (e.g. daily water reminders, weekly bill notifications) and uses the operating system's system alarms to fire them.
• Preferences & Customizations: Custom active themes, dashboard styles, and notification permission flags are saved locally in the device's Private Shared Preferences.

We do NOT collect, harvest, lease, or distribute your name, physical location, phone number, contacts list, device ID, or local analytics identifiers.

3. Google Drive Sync & Firebase Auth

To enable cross-device sync or data restoration during device replacement, the app offers an optional Cloud Backup utility. If you explicitly choose to turn this on:

• Google Sign-In: The application uses Firebase Authentication solely to authenticate your identity for Google Services securely. No personal profile details other than your primary email address are evaluated, and this profile data is never cached or stored on external servers by us.
• Google Drive App Folder Permission: The app requests access to your personal Google Drive account specifically scoped to the drive.appdata (App Data Folder) directory.

All cloud backups are zipped, secure SQLite packages encrypted and moved exclusively between your mobile device sandbox and your personal Google Drive repository. The developer is completely unable to intercept or access this backup archive.

4. How We Use and Share Information

We believe in absolute data hygiene. Any local configurations used by Smart Life Reminder are restricted to the following purposes:

• Providing local daily habit tracking reminders, alarms, and custom timelines.
• Computing visual analytical dashboards and habit streak progression charts locally.
• Completing user-instigated Google Drive data synchronization.

Third-Party Sharing: We do not share, sell, distribute, rent, or trade your personal data with any third-party marketing brokers, advertisers, or profiling corporations. Your local habit data never leaves your device unless you push a manual backup to your private Google Drive space.

5. Data Storage, Security, & Retention

Device Storage: All files are securely sandboxed inside the standard path directories on Android (SQLite binary database format). These files remain intact as long as the application remains installed on your device.

Cloud Archives: Backup files created in your Google Drive App Data space are retained continuously until you choose to delete them (either by wiping backups in Google Drive settings, resetting app sync, or requesting manual record cleanup).

Security Protocols: Local storage utilizes Android's internal operating system filesystem isolation. Cloud transmission is locked behind Google OAuth 2.0 authorization rules and standard TLS protocol handshakes.

6. Your Data Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)

Depending on your current geographical residency (such as the European Economic Area or California), you are backed by absolute data transparency rights. Smart Life Reminder fully respects and automates these rights:

• Right of Access & Portability: You can export a full copy of your databases or settings locally anytime. Go to Profile > Settings > Backup & Export Data in the app.
• Right to Deletion (Right to be Forgotten): You can wipe 100% of your local records instantly by deleting the app or selecting Profile > Settings > Reset All App Data. If you configured cloud syncing, you can trigger a remote cloud data purge via our online portal or by following the instructions on our Data Deletion Request Page.
• Right to Restrict Processing: You can opt-out of Google Cloud sync at any time simply by turning off cloud sync in the settings dashboard and signing out of your Google account.

7. Children's Online Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Our services are entirely safe, kid-friendly, and target general productivity. We do not deliberately solicit registration from or track children under the age of 13. Because no account registrations are mandated, we collect absolutely zero COPPA-governed personally identifiable metrics.

If you have any reason to believe that a child has managed to transmit data indicators to our cloud interfaces, please email us and we will delete the data immediately.

8. Policy Modifications & Developer Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to align with new OS capabilities or updated App Store directives. We recommend examining this website periodically to stay updated.
